Self-Intro
Hi everyone! My name is Nikki Shao, an international student from Shanghai, China. I’m a sophomore majoring in Econ with marketing and real estate minor. I am very excited to join this class! I chose to study Japanese because I loooove Japanese anime—I started watching anime when I was 7 or 8. My favorite anime at this point is Jujutsu Kaisen. What’s more, I love Japanese culture and would like to travel there a lot in the future—so I thought learning Japanese would be very helpful in this case.

It basically “Set in a world where humans emanate Cursed Energy that can create eldritch creatures known as Curses/Cursed Spirits, the Jujutsu Kaisen anime focuses on Yuji Itadori, a high schooler who becomes a vessel for Ryomen Sukuna, one of the most powerful Curses in existence.” Found on Google.
